This site is run by one person. Today it sets no cookies and loads no analytics or advertising code; the only processing of your data is the hosting provider's handling of each request. This page also says what will change when advertising or analytics is switched on.

What is collected today
Hosting
The pages are static files served by Cloudflare Pages. To deliver them it receives the IP address and request headers of every visit and handles them under its own privacy policy. This site runs no server code and keeps no log of its own.
What is not collected
There are no accounts, so no passwords. Calculator inputs are processed in your browser and never sent to a server or stored. There is no newsletter and no form that asks for an email address.
What will change when analytics or advertising is switched on
Analytics
No analytics runs today. If it is added it will be Google Analytics 4, recording pages visited, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and how you arrived, to see which pages are worth improving and not to identify individuals. This page will state the retention period when that happens.
Advertising
No advertising is served today. When it starts it will be served by Google AdSense, and Google and its partners may then set cookies or read existing ones to serve and measure ads, which in some configurations includes personalised advertising based on your prior browsing.

Your choices
No consent banner is shown today because nothing sets a cookie. Before any advertising or analytics cookie is set, visitors in the UK and the European Economic Area will see a banner first, will be able to decline, and will be able to change their mind later from a link in the footer.
Personalised advertising can be switched off for your Google account at myadcenter.google.com, independently of this site.
Depending on where you live you may have the right to request a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing, or complain to a regulator. In the United Kingdom that regulator is the Information Commissioner's Office. To exercise any of these, email the address above.
Retention
This site keeps nothing itself. What Cloudflare Pages retains about a request is set out in its privacy policy, linked above.
Children
This site is aimed at car buyers and owners. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on the page rather than made quietly.
Updated 2026-10-01. The previous version of this policy, dated 2026-09-02, described analytics, advertising, a newsletter and a consent banner as already in place. None was: the site loaded no analytics or advertising code, had no subscription form and set no cookie, so there was nothing for a banner to ask about. It also did not name the hosting provider, which is the one party that does process visitors' data. This version describes what runs today, names the provider, and says what will change when those services are added.
